With the beta version of Civic.me, our consumer product, fully live, we hit the ground running in the fourth quarter. We set to work building Dynamic Web3 Profiles for web3 companies to integrate effortlessly into their services.

Solana has introduced a new standard called Solana Token 2022 which supports, among other things, non-transferable or “Soulbound” tokens (SBTs). Instead of using this new standard at Civic, we use Civic Passes, an SBT standard, to allow individuals to represent aspects of their identity on-chain.

At Breakpoint Lisbon, we’re proud to announce that dApps can integrate Dynamic Web3 Profiles into their own platforms using the new Civic.me SDK. Using Civic’s easy to integrate SDK developers can now enable stronger community experiences for their users.

July began on the heels of launching Civic.me, our consumer-facing identity dashboard, and introducing a company rebrand at NFT.NYC.

In Q2 of 2022, Civic introduced a new tool, called uniqueness verification, that determines user individuality in order to build diverse communities. When a project uses Civic Pass for uniqueness verification, each user is limited to using one wallet, making NFT drops or any other Web3 use cases a more fair and controllable experience across the board.

Our Q1 of 2022 was about expanding our reach into permissioned market spaces. In January, we announced a partnership with Liquid Meta Capital Holdings to bring trusted, secure permissioned identity services to DeFi and enable Liquid Meta to provide capital liquidity to permissioned dApps.
